Sabine Parish couple convicted of child rape

MANY (AP) -- A Many couple has been convicted of befriending a neighbor's two children and then engaging in sexual acts with them. A Sabine Parish jury voted 11-1 to convict Debra McAnulty, 35, and Rickie Cuskey, 27, of two counts each of aggravated rape. They face mandatory life sentences. The victims, who were 9 and 10 when the incidents took place in 2004, testified against McAnulty and Cuskey. McAnulty and Cuskey have been in jail since their indictments last July. .
