Letter threats 'sent to rapist'

A 43-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court accused of sending threatening letters to rapist Iorworth Hoare, who won a £7.2 million lottery jackpot while on day release from prison. Peter Francis Mark Oates, of Brixton, south London, is charged with two counts of blackmail in relation to one letter which allegedly included two bullets and was addressed to a Mr B East and another which went to a neighbour on an exclusive estate.
