Accused Rapist Caught

A suspect wanted for a heinous crime, raping and robbing a woman at gunpoint, has been arrested.According to Miami-Dade Police, Michael Catton Harp Jr., 21, is charged with pulling a gun on a woman in the area of NW 22nd Avenue and 75th Street on Monday afternoon.After robbing her in broad daylight, he allegedly forced her into an abandoned building where he sexually assaulted her.Harp is charged with Armed Kidnapping, Armed Sexual Battery and Armed Robbery.Police want to remind the public to be aware of their surroundings and exercise caution when they are followed or approached by unknown person(s).Report any suspicious person(s) or activity to the Miami-Dade Police Department at (305) 4-POLICE (305-476-5423). .
