Teen jailed in rape of child

LAFAYETTE, La. Lafayette police have arrested a teenager for the rape of a nine-year-old girl, police said Wednesday. A police spokeswoman says 17-year-old Lance Joseph Rochon was booked on aggravated rape charges following an interview with detectives.
